Hello, this is my first post to the forums. My girlfriend purchased a '14 Cruze base model with the 1.8L back in March and has had a pretty good. Product description. This universal mounting kit can be used to attach license plates, novelty plates or plate frames to bumpers or trailers. The kit includes a 6' x 12' plastic bracket and four rust proof mounting screws.

Hey all, I recently bought a new subaru legacy, but bought it out of state that doesn't require front plates. I am back to a state that does require it (NY), I need to get them installed.
A local repair shop asked for 30 FRICKIN dollars for getting the plate installed- at that rate I want to do it myself, but need some help/advice. Apparently there is an indentation located at the front of the car that is made for the legacy, but I cannot find it. Also it seems that I will need more than the screws to keep the plate in place? (frame, plastic spacers, etc?) Can any of you give me help in how to install, AND also the place that can get me the cheapest plate frame/screws/etc that I need? Thanks everybody. I was being serious actually. Lived in New York my whole life, friends mustang never had front plates.
Dads cars never had front plates. Friends parents. My genesis has them but my ML500 didn't. I keep them in the trunk and if I ever were to get pulled over, I just would say I took them off for X reason. Also, it isn't just around me I've been like this. I drive to Rochester, albany, New York city and farther up north.
Never got a mention of it even when I got pulled over a few times. Obviously YMMV.
